What does Kevin need?
Kevin typically brings his own sound equipment and supplies. You simply provide space and electricity.
In some cases, kevin will plug his microphone and audio into your audio equipment (if available and needed).
How is the schedule for the day decided?
For the most part, the schools decide the schedule. Kevin arrives roughly 30 minutes before the first program. Programs for lower grades are typically 45 minutes and 60 minutes for grades 3 and up. Please plan for at least 15 minutes between programs. When creating a schedule for the day, please consider when everyone arrives and departs from the school. It's best if Kevin is not also arriving or leaving at the same time.
Can Kevin present at two schools in one day?
Yes!
What does Kevin need to know about our school(s)?
Please send us the following info (fill out what's applicable): http://kevinkammeraad.weebly.com/send-us-your-info.html
What does Kevin need to know about how to find our school?
Please let us know where to park and which entrance to use. It's usually obvious, but sometimes it can be quite confusing. Also, please let us know the official address of the school, not a PO Box, mailing address, etc. We use Google Maps to find your school and we need to make sure we have the correct address.
How are book and CD sales facilitated?
1. Print and pass out order forms found here: http://www.kevinkammeraad.com/downloads.html
2. Collect them the day before Kevin visits and let us know a rough estimate so we know how many to bring to the school. We'll have extras with us! While Kevin is at your school, he can accept credit and debit cards from staff and parents (using his phone). Credit cards are not accepted through the school order forms itself; it needs to be in person swiping the actual card.
3. On the day of Kevin's visit, he will autograph items and they can be given to the students.
4. After Kevin's visit, you can also pass out order forms, collect them, mail them to us and Kevin will sign the books and we'll mail everything to your school.
Do you write up a contract?
Yes, once the details are confirmed, we will email you a simple one page appearance agreement (contract) confirming those details. If you need this by a certain time, please let us know, otherwise we will try to get it to you in a timely manner.
Do you create an invoice?
The contract doubles as an invoice, however, we can also create a specific invoice separate from the contract upon request.
Do you require a deposit?
It is not typically required, but you are welcome to send one if you'd prefer to send one. With larger contracts (multiple days), we do request a deposit.
When is payment due?
Please have the check ready the day of the program(s). Please write the check to Cooperfly Creative Arts. W-9 and Tax ID available here.
What are the rates?
