The Monkeys Go Marching
“A Parents' Choice 2012 FunStuff Award Winner”
The Monkeys Go Marching {Simple Songs You Can Play Around With} is a collection of playful, high energy, spontaneous music completely interactive through movements, singing, and creative thinking. With each song you'll start expanding them on your own, performing with your own twists! Kevin recorded this CD with his friends Stacy (on guitar) and DJ (on drums), along with friends and family at the Wonder Workshop inside the Grand Rapids Children's Museum on August 23, 2011.
"Sing-along family friendly fun is alive and well in The Monkeys Go Marching, recorded as a live performance at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum in August 2011. Fresh renditions of traditional lyrical and musical frolic deliver Kevin Kammeraad's promise of fourteen "simple songs you can play around with."
- Parents' Choice
"Your kids will love to sing along to the entire CD and work to predict what he’s going to say next as well as come up with their own rhyming words to most of the songs. Kevin’s CD was recorded with a live audience so there is a lot of “space” where your kids can shout out their own ideas even though they’ll be listening to it in their living room, car, or bedroom."
- Mom Colored Glasses
"Your songs SAVED THE DAY subbing in an unruly kindergarten classroom today! It seemed the only times they were truly attentive were when we were singing. They loved it!"
- Nidya Marie, Teacher
